Following an extensive drive and an extended ferry journey from France, this establishment proved to be the ideal spot for breakfast. The meal featured expertly prepared dishes made with excellent, high-quality ingredients, making it a truly satisfying experience. I wholeheartedly endorse this place.

My recent visit yesterday with my daughter marked my second time dining here within the last month, and I felt compelled to share my experience, especially since Jeanette provided such wonderful service to us on both occasions. This charming café consistently delivers outstanding food; on a previous visit, their bubble and squeak, perfectly topped with poached eggs, was incredibly delicious, and this time around, I opted for poached eggs with smashed avocado and a fresh salad, which proved to be just as satisfying. I wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic café to anyone visiting Arundel.

My visit last week with a group of six to Moathouse Bakeaway & Coffee Co. started with the place appearing nice and offering an extensive range of food. However, the staff were notably unfriendly and unkind, especially considering we had small children, making us feel like an imposition. After ordering a few sandwiches and a pasty, we noticed a significant pricing discrepancy on the board: one price for eat-in and another for takeaway. For some sandwiches, the eat-in option was an astonishing 55% higher, with most items costing at least £2-£3 more to dine in, which I found completely ridiculous. Realizing this after only a few minutes, we tried to change our order to takeaway, but the unhelpful staff members were unyielding, first saying they would "check" and then returning to inform us it was already being plated up. In the end, I estimate we paid an extra £10-15 for the "pleasure" of eating in what felt like a very hostile and unfriendly environment. To top it off, my simple question about gluten-free bread was met with a very blunt "no.

I've been a loyal patron of this establishment for approximately six years now. Even though I've since moved away from the immediate area, I consistently make the effort to return because, quite simply, there's no other place that measures up to Moathouse. I always find the food to be delicious and the service to be absolutely fantastic.

What a charming little spot this is; we were really looking forward to settling in. However, we discovered the restroom was out of service, which unfortunately left us without a way to wash our hands. Because of this, we ultimately couldn't stay to properly enjoy and sample their tempting products.

I always appreciate the genuinely warm welcome and the remarkably fast service here, making every visit a pleasure. The food is consistently delicious, with my partner always finding superb gluten-free choices, while I enjoy exploring their extensive menu, which truly never disappoints. My Full English breakfast today was simply outstanding, and the coffee was incredibly satisfying; both arrived swiftly and were perfectly hot. I also noticed how efficiently tables were cleared and kept spotless, which is clearly appreciated by locals given how popular this spot is.

After a night at House Arundel, we decided to visit Moathouse Bakeaway for breakfast the following morning. This spot immediately struck us as a fantastic, bustling food establishment, clearly a firm favourite among the local community. We thoroughly savoured our cooked breakfasts while observing the lively comings and goings of local patrons. The team working there was incredibly engaging, and every item on our plate – from the sausage and bacon to the eggs – arrived piping hot and flawlessly prepared. Its convenient location right next door to Hotel Arundel makes it an ideal choice for guests staying at the hotel.

I was genuinely impressed by the generous portions and the consistently fresh, delicious food served here. The service truly stood out; the staff were considerate and always offered a smile, even during what I could tell were busy and demanding periods – something I appreciate, having experienced similar work environments myself. This spot will definitely be my preferred choice for future trips to Arundel, especially since grabbing a fresh baguette to enjoy outdoors feels much more appealing than dining in a crowded restaurant, particularly when the weather is warm.
